Paudy farmed full-time for 18 years after graduating from Clonakilty Agricultural College in 1997. In 2015 he sold his dairy herd to establish Agritxt. He is still part-time farming while managing the business.

Peter has a degree in software design and implementation. He also has over 18 years’ experience distributing lubricants and parts to the agricultural market across Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford and combines all these skills to run the IT and Automotive needs of Agritxt.

Sam’s agricultural experience comes from spending all her spare time as a child helping on her grandparents beef and sheep farm in Co. Wicklow. She then married a dairy farmer from Cork and continued to help alongside him. Outside of her farming life she also has over 20 year’s experience in office administration.

Sheena grew up on a diary, beef and sheep farm in County Waterford. After graduation from UCD with a B.Sc. in Agricultural Science. She worked in Gurteen Agricultural College and New Zealand. Along side her husband and daughter, they own and manage a beef and sheep herd outside of Buttevant. Sheena also works for the pedigree sheep breed societies and is a member of IFA and Charleville Show Committee.

Jillian grew up on a beef and sheep farm which she is still involved with. She studied drystock management in Gurteen Agricultural College before continuing to WIT to study a B.Sc. in Agricultural Science.

Ann farms dairy, beef and tillage farm with her husband, John and daughter Helena. Ann’s understanding of farming and farmer’s needs comes from her life-long involvement and commitment to farming. Ann also had a career teaching at second and third level.

Lisa spent 14 years as a large animal veterinary nurse and dog groomer. Lisa joined the team in 2022 and always had an interest in farming. She secured a place in the veterinary nursing course at St. John’s College in Cork in 2008 and graduated in 2010. She stayed in St John’s for another year and completed a level 6 course in dog grooming before entering the working environment. Lisa holds a QQI Level 6 in Veterinary Nursing. She also has a son and many dogs.

Catherine joined the team in April 2022 after 16 years in the finance world. Originally from Kilkenny, her work brought her to Cork.
Her agricultural experience began when she met a local dairy farmer 6 years ago and grew from there. Now married with 2 boys, Catherine enjoys helping on the farm when she can. Catherine also has a degree in HR

Stephen is a suckler to beef farmer with an interest in all varieties of farming. He has studied Agricultural Science and used this knowledge when traveling to England, Australia, and New Zeland. In these countries he has worked on a variety of different farms.

Danielle has strong family connections to farming. She has over 10 years experience in veterinary environment as a practice manager. Danielle brings this experience to her role managing the scheduling and processing of files in the office.
